Draft – Ashli Babbitt. Dead or Alive? or Oceans 1/6/21

Out of morbid curiosity I watched the video of the shooting of Ashli Babbitt. I was surprised that such full video was available. I admit that my first thought was ‘I bet she was obviously ANTIFA’. I watched, and I conceded quickly that she was not.

I watched a couple of times and I must say that I expected a bit more out of control violence. I must say it looks staged to me. With the obvious political implications, I immediately thought “false flag”.

On Google, one of my first hits was this https://www.bitchute.com/video/1nsES3Y1cfwO/. This person makes the points that the gun appears to not point at her (ie he shoots away, to the left), that there is very little blood from a shot to the neck, and that the shooter, unusually, disappears from the scene. All good points, I thought but, the angle of the video makes it hard to tell for sure if he was pointing at her, maybe he hit her in the spine so not much blood, the shooter may have retreated to protect a VIP. I was not all in. After hours of watching the tapes, to be honest, I have found a lot to be suspicious of. I’m afraid, short of finding Ashli Babbitt alive, we will likely never get a final answer. In my book, given all I’ve seen, I’d probably make a big wager at 2 or 3-1 that this shooting was a setup, though in reality I’d say, more like a coin toss.

First, the high level view. How did these people get here? They were there, supposedly, for a Trump rally aimed at persuading Congress to look at evidence of election fraud, a long shot proposition to start. As many have pointed out, it would have been impossible for anyone to listen to the speech and be at the Capital Building when the attack began. Reporting indicates that FBI knew there was some sort of violence planned, so it seems likely this was not a spontaneous event. And the Capital Hill Police, despite requesting to have additional manpower at hand, given the expected crowd size, were denied the help. The chief of the force resigned, saying as much.

Lacking obvious evidence, the first question must be – Cui Bono? Who was likely to benefit from such an attack? especially such an attack that results in the loss of life? The aftermath of the event makes it clear the beneficiary was NOT Donald Trump or his supporters. The surface, CNN-type reporting, tries to claim that the attack was intended to stop the certification of the election, a literal coup. However, if that was the case, the attackers clearly missed the mark. They brought almost no weapons, and, once inside the building, mostly wandered around taking selfies.

I’m not saying it is impossible that was the plan, however, anyone sophisticated enough to plan such an attack would have easily predicted the result. There were a few senators desperately looking to persuade their collegues to take some time and review evidence of fraud. No one proposed switching electoral votes in favor of DJT, only of, perhaps, not certifying right now, and allowing the state legislatures to review the evidence. Chaos, like that of an attack on the Capitol, was not going to be helpful. For proof, turn on CNN (still, now, three weeks later). The result of a mob attack on Congress is not, and would not have been, hard math.

Now, from the other perspective, the benefits are, and also would have been clear. An attack, in the name of the President, would shame the already skittish senators into quieting their objections, lest they be accused of “overthrowing the election”; all the more so if such an attack were to turn deadly. How many headlines have you seen that include that descriptor? Every one. Ashli Babbitt’s death (or “death”) would have been the icing on the cake and shown the world this attack was real and dangerous and would need to be dealt with severely. See Nancy Pelosi since January 6. Could allowing an attack to “succeed” have been intentional?

To the tape.

I try not to arrive at conclusions before looking at facts. With the sound on, it does appear hectic and a bit disturbing on the first couple of runs through. However, as I reviewed the footage, later mostly with the sound off, I tried to follow the individuals that can be seen and try to put the scene in context. Are they acting consistently? What would I be doing or not doing in this situation. The longer I looked, the less real it seemed. None of it seemed organic to me; many of the main characters appear to be play acting and do not behave in obvious ways.

Here is the original JAYDENX video.

For the most part, my focus will be on or after around the 33 minute mark. I’ll refer to this video as JAYDENX. Here is my interpretation of what we are supposed to get from what happened.

The Narrative

A rowdy mob traps a few hapless, unarmed, security guards against an important barred doorway in the Capitol Building. The beating heart of US Democracy sits, cowering, on the other side, fearing for their lives. The mob is angry and want to get by. One of the more decent rioters takes charge and offers the rent-a-cops the chance to stand down before they are crushed to death. The guards, somewhat sheepishly, take the offer, and in exchange for their lives, move aside to allow the mob to mob on, moments before the armed SWAT team takes over the defense and is able to stop the assault. The door windows are broken and the mob begins its’ attack. Ashli Babbitt is first to go through and is shot once by a policeman in deathly fear of being overwhelmed. Unable to clear the out of control crowd causes interminable delay and as a result the victim dies en route to the hospital.

Here is the other video, from a different angle. I’ll refer to it as THE RESISTANCE video.

https://theresistance.video/watch?id=5ff6857e00bac0328da8e888

The part I am interested in happens after around the 37 minute mark.

I hope karma will understand, but to set down my thoughts on this I intend to give the characters names and take a rather light tone. For example, the set of security guards I will call the Blarts.

There are a couple of things that I notice right off. No one seems particularly violent. Yes, there is a lot of noise, much of it, to me, cartoonish, ‘rabble rabble‘, lacking actual intention. There are a lot of people in a small space. I am sure it would be intimidating to face. However, I can’t make out any actual weapons on anyone in the crowd. I see lots of phones filming. No one throws anything at or hits or even, really, pushes the Blarts.

As the crowd closes in, a leader emerges. Clearly shown in the JAYDENX video, the Trapper tries to calm the crowd: “these aren’t the ones we want” or something like that. He and someone in the crowd, it seems like the videographer, JAYDENX himself, suggests if they just move aside, they will not be hurt. The Blarts, with no other apparent choice than to face the mob alone, decide, discretion being the better part of valor, to step aside.

Once out of the way, the mob, mainly the Trapper, begins, with some difficulty I might add, to break the glass doors. He is the rioter that, later, actually breaks the window that Ms. Babbitt climbs into.

Prior to the gun shot (which occurs at +/-35:07 JAYDENX and +/-39:11 in RESISTANCE), a call goes out that “he’s got a gun”. It can only be heard in the JAYDENX video and it happens at around 34:53 (JAYDENX). It is echoed by a couple of people in the background. And it almost has to be heard by the Trapper, as he has just finished knocking out the glass, literally a second before, and right next to the person who yelled “gun”. It would also seem impossible that he did not actually see the Shooter as well, as he crept up for his shot.

Here’s what is odd. In the +/-14 seconds between “he’s got a gun” and the shot, the Trapper, moves over to the window that Ms. Babbitt climbs into, breaks it down, she taps him on the back, and he waves her on, and backs away calmly facing the wall away from the shooter. See RESISTANCE +/-38:55-39:04. Then, for a reaction unlikely to win him an Emmy, he is shocked, downright flabbergasted, to look up to see where the shot could have possibly come from. See RESISTANCE 39:14.

The questions ask themselves. After he saw and heard the warning that there was a gun, why was he not affected? Why would he send Babbitt in, alone and unarmed, to face the Shooter? If the claim is he was actually unaware of the Shooter, then after he broke through the door window next to and before Ashli’s, why did no one go in, including, especially, himself?

Here’s another apparent anomaly. From the point of view of the JADENX video it appears the Blarts have no choice. They are unarmed and outnumbered by angry rioters. Who could really blame them for not putting up a fight against such odds?

However, in the RESISTANCE view it is clear a heavily armed swat team, the Cavalry, has arrived on the scene. We also notice that they are not trapped like rats; there is a near empty staircase for an exit in the event things went left. Are we to suppose to believe they are just being honorable? A deal is a deal after all. It would be bad form, going back on the gentleman’s agreement to now demand the rioters stop their breaking and entering? The Blarts are actually greeted by the Cavalry as they are making their way away, down the stairs in shame. They are given attaboy pats going by, as if to say, ‘there’s nothing you could have done’ (+/-38:48 RESISTANCE). Yet, at that point, nothing much has actually happened. Trapper is still beating on the glass with his helmet. Ms. Babbitt is still standing by, clearly visible and reachable by the Cavalry, if they had a notion. For nearly 30 seconds before the shot, they seem to make small talk while the breach is happening. More on that later.

Why would the Blarts continue their retreat when machinegun-armed backup had just arrived? Why would the Cavalry stop on the stairs, if we are to believe the story that this doorway was a big red line of last defense?

Now watch the RESISTANCE in the moments before the shot, focus on Blue Hoodie. This person is not clearly visible in the standoff portion of video. However, he is there when the “gun” warning goes out, right next to the person making the warning, and right in front of the Shooter, so it seems that he heard it as well as. He is clearly visible with his face to the empty door window (see JAYDENX +/-35:08 and 39:00 THE RESISTANCE). This is +/- 11 seconds before the shot, so he had to have seen the Shooter as well.

From the context of these videos it appears Blue Hoodie is the second main character, so far, to continue the assault ignoring armed and threatening opposition. However, I have found a third version here: 3rd view

This clip confirms that the gun warning was noticed widely. In this view it is clear that lots of people saw the Shooter. Notice that at least one person from around the third row puts his hands up as well as the Flying Monkey. From this angle we see Blue Hoodie actually acknowledge the shooter and put his hands up.

In fact, it appears that the Flying Monkey pointed the Shooter out to Trapper as he is breaking the final window. If we sync the new video we can see the hand up in warning (guy in the puffy orange jacket around the middle of the doors) at 39:02 (RESISTANCE). Trapper has still not finished breaking the window, not more than 4 feet away. Yet he continues the job, and backs away when she climbs in at 39:10.

Trapper issues no warning to stop. She either does not notice or ignores them and climbs up to her demise. For her death to have not been a setup, we have to believe that either she did not hear the warnings, nor see the gunman in front of her, or, alternatively, that she saw the threat and disregarded it.

Was she unaware, suicidal or recklessly brave? I suppose either of them is possible. Or did she intend to “die”?

Blue Hoodie’s reaction to the actual shooting was one of the first things I noticed that seemed way off. He, like Ashli, somehow make their way through the crowd, to the front of the line. As she is being helped into the opening, he reaches up his arms toward her. It is hard to tell if he is reaching for a hold to pull himself in, or offering her assistance. Honestly, it looks like nothing, an empty pose as she falls past him to the ground. He claims he was trying to pull her down as the police were saying ‘get down, get out of the way’. However, the video shows no such thing. From the last video I found, it seems clear, now, that he was signaling the Shooter with his hands up.

Watch his reaction to the gunshot. Did you see it? Me neither. He was, what, 3 -4 feet way from the gun? The window to the door was missing. He did not so much as flinch, his arms remain outstretched with no thought to duck and cover. Maybe he’s totally deaf. But based on his ‘man on the scene’ interviews outside the building afterwards, I would say not. Sure it was noisy; but I still flinch at the first couple of shots at a gun range (with ear protection). The gun shot was hearable. Watch MAGA Gadson, who is at least 2-3 layers of people away from the shot, duck when he hears it. His hat comes off. (see THE RESISTANCE 39:12-13).

Why does Blue Hoodie not react to a gunshot very close to his face?

Then, once he realizes what has happened, why is he not afraid for his life. He continues to stand in the potential line of fire for a long time after he sees blood, casually taking out his cell phone to video the scene, with his back to the Shooter. How could he know there would be no more shots? After all, he was apparently attempting the same breach as Ms. Babbitt. Why would he stay? Curiosity, maybe. Maybe he knows her and is staying to help. He does not act that way. He seems very non-chalant; and in his later “interviews” outside, does not give a name. He refers to “her”, “they shot her”; not “they shot Ashli”.

Why does Blue Hoodie stand upright with no thought of getting away or hiding when someone has just been shot?

Why did the Shooter shoot her?

The narrative, remember, is that there were many VIPs behind those doors; that this was the last line of defense before the totally helpless members of Congress, like baby Yodas, could have been kidnapped or worse. He had to hold the line no matter what. If that is the case why was he alone? Why was he hiding instead of standing visible and threatening the intruders like in the House chamber? Why was the Cavalry so disinterested? They obviously did not get the memo that this was a Red Line Zone.

Did he have to shoot her? She was a girl, not an especially large girl either. She was unarmed, or at least not obviously armed. No one he could see had been hurt. She was vulnerable while climbing into the window; he could have pushed her back with a single hand. Maybe he panicked, Davy Crocket at the Alamo style. PTSD? Ok, maybe. That being the case, why only one shot? I challenge you to find me the video of a police shooting with just one shot. The Capital Hill Police are definately not known for their restraint (2 officers, 9 shots each). He claims to have had 31 rounds in his gun. Why retreat from the scene? Was the threat obviously neutralized from his one bullet? I cannot find video of him appearing at all after the shot to make sure.

Also, it appears his “this is the end” view was not universally held behind the barricade. In the video, before the shot, look over the barrel of the gun and check out Dwight, in the gray suit, walking down the hall as the Shooter tenses. (see JAYDENX +/-35:00). He doesn’t even notice the riot. I can’t tell if he is on the way for his morning constitutional or wondering if any donuts are left from yesterday morning in the breakroom. To me, his pace and demeanor do not suggest thoughts of imminent annihilation.

The Victim.

We read that Ashli Babbitt was a 14 year veteran of the Air Force; that she was a huuge Trump supporter and Qanon follower with the Twitter bona fides to go with it. According to her last Tweet, she was there at the Capital to bring in the “storm”:

“Nothing will stop us….they can try and try and try but the storm is here and it is descending upon DC in less than 24 hours….dark to light!”

I will say that my first thought, consistent with a false flag scenario, was that her background had been fabricated. Though I’m sure that’s something feasible for sophisticated covert operators, it seems a risky and difficult way to go. If she were an actual Trump supporter maybe my original theory seems takes on water.

However, upon reflection, I do not think it is sunk. If I were planning such an operation I actually might prefer a real life Trump fan. Anyone with the remotest connection to ANTIFA or the left would be immediately suspicious. I would convince the Victim that we are with Q, a part of the “loyal” cadre of intelligence officers, fighting for Trump behind the scenes. I would convince her that by being “killed” in storming the Capitol that she would become a martyr, a hero, the George Floyd for the right. I would allude to the Boston Massacre and convince her that her “death” would spark a revolution like 1776.

Her personal and financial life did not seem this side of stable. She seemed a ripe target for a financial payoff and new start in life which would have likely been on offer.

In the Air Force the Victim‘s job was in security. She guarded gates and acted as military police. According to the NYT : “In the Guard, she was assigned to a unit based near Washington that is known as the “Capital Guardians,” because one of their primary missions is defending the city. Security forces in the squadron regularly train with riot shields and clubs for what the Air Force calls “civil disturbance missions.”

The first reports I originally read indicated some sort of military intelligence role, which seemed suspicious. That turned out to not be the case. However, her actual job profile brings up its’ own line of questions. For example, working in crowd control brings to focus the main advantage police have in dealing with mobs: organization. The reason why a small number of police can deal with large crowds is that they act together. Knowing this, why would Ashli work alone, as it appears on the surface that she was?

In addition, crowd control police are equipped for the job. They have helmets, shields, padding, and pepper spray. They come equipped to tussle. Ashli came to the Capital hair down, unarmed, unprotected and wearing a flag as a cape (something I’m sure no one contemplating joining a brawl would – too easy to grab and use against the wearer). What it turned out to do, coincedentally or not, was obscure the view of those filming the scene of her wound.

I have not found too much video of her at the scene. At one point she goes to the front of the mob and yells at the Defenders. REF HERE. She also jumps up and down, tantrum style. REF HERE Not really very menacing for someone trained to inflict damage, as she undoubtedly was given her years in the military.

She also visibly checks her cell phone in her final moments. I’m sure we will never know, but I’d be curious of her recent communications.

I also have a question as to how it was her that ended up in the opening first. Why would Trapper do all the heavy lifting, so to speak, and allow her to be the first through the breach? Are we to believe it was just chivalry, “ladies first”? From the video, I gather we are to believe she did not have any sort of partnership with the Trapper or Blue Hoodie or Flying Monkey. I cannot find them explicitly communicating with each other. However, for some reason, it was she who got the honor of going through first, literally taking the bullet. Their actions, seemingly coordinated without speaking, point to an underlying plan.

The Director

Another thing I find out of place if we are to believe the narrative is her, and other actors’, seeming affinity for the Director. The Director occupies the (eventual) place where he will be the first one to get to the (eventual) Victim when she falls. I’m pretty sure we are intended to assume he is employed as security in the building. He wears a black suit and has a security badge on a chain. Yet, I cannot find him really taking much charge of the Defenders. He seems very passive as they are threatened and forced to flee.

He does however come into contact with a number of the mob players. In RESISTANCE, around 37:30-45 notice the trio of MAGA Gadson, Trapper and the Director. With his arm actually around MAGA Gadson, the Director and he have a brief conversation. Immediately after that, MAGA Gadson speaks with Trapper and ACT 1 begins.

Of special note, the Victim appears to stay near his side, almost hiding behind him for protection. Chillingly, catch her expression when she notices herself being filmed just before she goes to climb through the window (RESISTANCE 38:21). I see nervous. I see stage fright. Check the expression. The licking the lips. She knows something is about to happen.

Another huge tell to me, that I failed to see in the first many runs through the video, is as she separates from the Director, and heads toward the window, he glances back over his shoulder to the window just as Trapper is finished pushing it in and before she climbs in. It’s as if he knows something will happen there. (RESISTANCE 39:00)

Then, instead of reacting to the window being smashed, and going back toward the disturbance, he turns to intercept the Cavalry, and engage in some talk. This gives the SWAT team the alibi to stay where they are instead of going to the front of the action. LINK WITH OFFICIAL STORY ‘AS THE SWAT TEAM TOOK OVER FOR THE GUARDS…’ Why did he look back as the Victim headed for the window? Why did he delay the armed police?

In the next instance, a shot rings out and the Victim falls back. When I first saw these videos, I noticed that Ashli does not seem to be impacted in any way from the bullet. I expected at least some force to push her away from the impact. She falls nearly straight back, maybe even a little away from where you would expect. Next I noticed that no bullet went through her and impacted the walls; they are bright white throughout. Then, instead of thrashing around holding the wound, she lies still and stares, head on her knapsack.

Another ‘Magic Bullet

Because the framing of the shot, it is difficult to tell if the gun was actually aiming at her where she is “wounded”. Based on later photos of the first aid attempts we see that the bullet wound is high on her left shoulder. What is clear, if we put together different views, is that it is inconceivable that he was able to shoot her where he did. He was aiming too low. And unless we have another magic bullet on our hands, that can curve upward, it is not believable that she was actually shot.

Here is an attempt to stitch together the various video we have to demonstrate this fact. However, given the distortions in the different views, there might be some ambiguity.

Approaching it as a logician, let’s take what we can know and make the case. We can see quite clearly that the Shooter was aiming nearly exactly horizontal. Notice his arms and the gun as the shot goes off. REF So if we assume that we are not dealing with a magic bullet and that it travels in a straight line, we can put that line in relation to other views and see if it is possible her wound would have been in that line.

The shooter aims from around mouth level. Let’s assume he is above average height. However, let’s also assume that he is not as tall as what appears to be the tallest person in the room, Stretch (the tall Blart). Now look at the photo of Stretch relative to the brass hinges on the door behind him. REF His mouth level is quite a bit below the bottom of those hinges; I’d say a foot.

Focus on ‘Stretch’s’ eye level and the rectangular brass hinges.
Nearly perfectly level shot trajectory; clearly not above Bart Stretch’s eyes (which are quite below the bottom of the hinge).

Now look at the Victim when the gun goes off. Her upper shoulder, the place she was supposedly shot, is higher than the bottom of the brass hinge. So, with the gun aimed below the bottom of the hinge and her above the hinge it is likely impossible for her to have been shot as we are told.

Here is the one frame I have found that includes the gun and the Victim in the same image. I have drawn a level line from the gun. All of the other evidence we have is circumstantial. This is not. This is clear evidence Ashli Babbitt could not have been shot on January 6 at the Capitol.

Then on the ground, no blood is visible until REF seconds after the shot, and then only from her mouth and nose.

In talking this over with friends, I can find at least semi-plausible explanations for most of these questions. It is possible the officer was using low velocity ammo which would account for the lack of an exit wound LINK. It is possible that no blood vessels or arteries were struck. My police friend says that if there is no exit wound it is possible for blood to be minimal, as the entry wound would be cauterized by the heat from the bullet. Perhaps she was hit in the spine and it immobilized her, preventing the natural urge to grasp for the wound and roll around in pain. All of these thing are possible. The combination of them makes the scene look unlike what I would expect, but, by themselves, is not from dispositive.

As she falls, her impact is broken by the oversized and puffy backpack she was wearing. I noticed lots of people wearing back backs that day. I would be be interested to know the contents, though. Coincedence or not, it happened to break her fall quite nicely, preventing a head injury.

Then, quite curiously, the Director immediately picks her up and squares her position with the stairs. At first, I thought this odd and inexplicable, but could not put any meaning to it. REF

On the upteenth time watching the video, I noticed I could watch it in slow motion. (I don’t watch that many videos on the internet.) Upon slowing the motion down, I picked up on really the one single thing that I cannot explain plausibly. REF After she falls and is put into place, one of the Cavalry reaches for her hand and appears to put something in it. I can find no video or pictures that show if he had anything in his hand. It is done quite intentionally and with the appearance of trying to not be seen. REF I also notice that there is no apparent blood anywhere prior to the Handoff. Also, after the Handoff, another of the Cavalry, rather suspiciously stands between the camera and the Victim; REF seconds later blood appears to come from her mouth and nose. REF

Did the Director move her over so that she could be reached for the Handoff? Why did a member of the Cavalry reach into her hand surrepticiously?

My thoughts for a (non-conspiricist) explanation are (1) he was trying to help move her – yet he let go immediately, (2) he was trying to comfort her – yet he let go immediately and turned away, (3) stretching for something here, maybe he was trying to take her pulse – utterly ridiculous.

He seriously looks like he is performing a magic trick and does not want to be seen. Once you see it in slow motion, it becomes noticeable. At full speed, it happens in a blink. Though, once you are looking for it, you can see the grab and release clearly.

On the conspiracy theory side, was he handing her a blood capsule? The only other explanation might be that he was giving her a signal that the “play” was going on as planned and her team was in place. Though I lean toward the blood capsule, the timing of the visible blood is apparent and his teammate immediately moves (rather awkwardly and obviously) to block the view.

I admit I don’t know why he would have to hand her a blood capsule. I also cannot see her reach for her mouth. The view is obstructed in all the videos I have seen, so it would not be ruled out either; and it appears the Director holds that hand during that time (to help or help obscure?). Why wouldn’t she carry it with her? Perhaps too fragile and would break too soon? I don’t know; but this is the single interaction that I have not been able to plausibly explain away.

SWAT?

Once the Victim is on the ground, the Cavalry goes into some sort of standing motion. One member of the team, quite comically to me, waves his gun around as I did when I played SWAT in my back yard in the ’70s. (JAYDENX 35:22) Then he gives the thumbs up signal to someone behind the window. Why does he give this signal? to who? To me, thumbs up means “OK, things are going as planned”. What plan? Seems like a shit show to me. It could also conceivably mean the area is safe but that seems a bit premature given how shortly ago a person was shot and no attempt has been made to identify the shooter. It’s as if they know who the shooter was and know there was only going to be one shot.

I also notice that as she is being tended to, the Flying Monkey remains very close to both the Cavalry and the Director. Why would he remain? For most of the preceding action he has stayed very close to both the entry window and the Director. Notice how comfortable he is kneeling in the midst of the Cavalry (JAYDENX 35:00-36). Then, when he notices a camera pointed in his direction, his eyes widen and he raises his hands (JAYDENX +/-36:07). He then gets up, has a brief conversation with, and exits the scene with a friendly pat on the back from, the Director (JAYDENX 36:20 & RESISTANCE 40:25).

These policemen make no forceful effort to secure the area. They allow Blue Hoodie and the Flying Monkey to remain for some time. In fact, it would almost appear that Blue Hoodie was giving some direction or guidance to the Cavalry. REF This would, indeed, be odd. Why would these people not be considered a threat? In fact, as she lay bleeding, the Cavalry remains rooted to the stairwell, waving their arms and speaking to the crowd to try to get them to make way for the Victim to be removed.

I have only been around police a few times, but I have seen COPS. The police I have seen are keen to be in control of any given situation. This is a riot, in the capitol, and someone has been shot, yet they plead like kindergarten teachers. Their behavior seems off to me.

Also, what happens to Trapper? After his shock at there being a gunshot, he leaves the action. I can tell you if I were in his shoes I would be trying to find the exit. After being at the front of a mob threatening the police and where someone just got shot, I would be afraid cuffs were in my immediate future. But he does not. He retreats from the stage and hangs around on the empty stairwell, hiding behind the Cavalry, digging in his backpack, changing his clothes (see JAYDENX 37:17 & 37:32). I’m having a hard time finding the natural motivation for this behavior.

MASH

Once she is on the ground there are a number of people there to help, yet I cannot find any video of anyone actually performing even minimal first aid. A person immediately kneels down claiming to be a medic and a member of the Cavalry also kneels down. For XXX? seconds no one makes a serious effort to find the wound or apply something to stop bleeding. Though as I mentioned before, there is very little blood evident. All that is done, are a few tugs on the scarf and lapel. Also, as I noted earlier, her choice of cape obstructs any good visual of where the wound would be. And, as also noted earlier, she is surprisingly docile and quiet. I can tell you I would be screaming my best curses.

PS Here is the only image or video I can find that shows any attempt at first aid. PIC

“We can’t save her”

A minute or two after the shooting, it “occurs” to the Guardians and the Cavalry that if the crowd does not disperse it will be difficult to get the Victim out to the hospital. The implication might be that because the crowd was so large and unruly it was impossible to get Ms Babbitt out in time to save her life. However, one of the deplorables, a woman, points out the obvious problem with this theory, namely that there is an empty stairwell available. The Defender, faced with this woman’s logic, and insistence to “take her down there” (which can be read on her lips), goes blank faced, thinks for a second and begins yelling, “Do you want her to die?” (see JAYDENX 37:56-38:25). Why would they not consider taking her down the stairs or procurring ems that way?

ref video of carrying down the stairs

It is also at this time that the narrator of JAYDENX begins to pronounce the Victim dead, exclaiming the news to the crowd without evidence. He says “She’s bleeding out on the floor. She’s dead. She’s dead.” (JAYDENX +/-38:00). Perhaps this conjecture is an overexcited reaction to being so close to the shooting. Perhaps this is an incitement to the crowd. On the other hand, given the striking, “coincedental” proximity JAYDENX has had to Oceans 1/6/21, perhaps he knows she will be pronounced dead (just like he knew there would be an assault on the building).

I think it also interesting that none of the original Cavalry or Blarts venture out of the stairwell to the crowded hall after the shooting. (see JAYDENX 37:20-32). They stand where there were when they showed up. The crowd is very quickly dispersed once other Capital Hill Police arrive on the scene after JAYDENX 37:00. In particular, notice the effective action of the Blue Giant (around JAYDENX 39:00).

EMS to the Rescue

There are videos of the Victim on a stretcher going to the ambulance with the apparent effort to be very public. There appear to be minimal efforts at life support and any bandaging to be seen seems slapdash with no covering from view. I cannot speak to the authenticity of how her removal was done. To my uneducated eye, it appears done to emphasize the visual impact and not to accomplish any medical goal.

Also, I am genuinely asking, does it seem weird that the Cavalry escorts her out of the building to the ambulance?
